I appreciated the room's historical character. Antique furniture added to its unique ambiance. The location was superb with convenient access to major attractions. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I liked having two luggage racks in my room. It kept everything organized.

I noticed a bit of street noise in the morning, which could be disruptive for light sleepers.

charming stay

helpful staff best espresso

the staff answered all my questions. the keys were very big, ornate and staff held onto them while i was out. the breakfast was the best i have ever had at a hotel. the bar produced some of the best espresso and cappuccinos.

the room was not at all as the pictures made it seem. the bathroom was substandard and the shower was dangerous to use. it was just a shower wand in the bathtub and it wasn't possible to shower properly. where you had to stand in the tub was precarious.

the hotel is in front of a beautiful and quiet piazza. it gets busy with young people at night, however you won't be bothered by it. you can get directly to the hotel by car or taxi from the airport.

I found the staff at reception quite helpful. They assisted me with directions and local recommendations, it was very much appreciated! the hotel had convenient access to nearby attractions. Getting around was definitely easy. the hotel offered a lovely coffee maker in the room. It was a welcome touch after a long day.

the square outside could get a little noisy at night! though closing the windows helped.

My room included individual climate control. I was able to adjust the temperature easily. the bathroom provided toiletries from farmacia ss annunziata, a very nice detail. there was also a hairdryer and ample towels.

The hotel is situated near piazza della annunziata. I found it very central for exploring the area. the basilica was right next door. Its proximity was definitely very convenient for sightseeing. the hotel is also within walking distance of the duomo.

excellent location high ceilings fresh fruits helpful staff

the location was perfect for exploring i could walk to all the main attractions easily the room i stayed in had lovely high ceilings it created a great sense of space the breakfast included a wide selection of fresh fruits and pastries it was a lovely start to the day the staff were always on hand to offer helpful advice about local places to visit

the elevator was quite small it only fit two people comfortably it occasionally meant a short wait

handheld sprayer inadequate shower

the staff seemed nice enough.

the shower was definitely not up to par it was essentially a bathtub with a handheld sprayer i found myself mopping up the floor after each attempt to wash.

extra fruit helpful staff excellent breakfast uneven surface old building many slopes

the breakfast here was excellent. there was so many choices for me. the staff was kind and really helpful to me. i also liked the extra touches of fruit they brought us, and cookies too.

the building itsself is very old. it is beautiful but has many uneven surfaces. i am in my 30s and found some difficulty, especially slopes and ledges.
